FUNERAL SERVICES FOR SIMON GRASMAN HELD WEDNESDAY

Mr. Simon Grasman, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Vanden Hoek, passed away Friday, December 12th, at the University Hospital in Iowa City.

He had suffered for many years in varying degrees and with numerous ailments, but had been a patient at the hospital for only a few weeks.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the home and at 1:30 in the Christian Reformed Church. Interment was in the cemetery at Inwood, Iowa. Reverend J. Hanenburg of Hull was in charge of the services.

Simon Grasman, who was 36 years of age at the time of his passing, was born at Rock Rapids, Iowa, and at the age of five years came to Hull. He attended the Christian Grammar School and graduated from the Christian High School here, and attended Central College for one year.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Henry Meyer. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Vanden Hoek, three brothers, Peter Meyer, Cornie Meyer and John Meyer and a host of friends.
