Hendrene Dora Graham, 89, retired teacher, died Sunday, April 3, 1994, in Florence Park Care Center in Florence, Kentucky.

Hendrene Visser was born May 12, 1904, in Orange City, Iowa.

She married Arthur Robert Graham on March 8, 1929. He died December 4, 1966. They farmed near Hull and Middleburg, Iowa for several year, before moving into Hull. She was also a teacher in rural schools near Doon, Iowa, and Hull, and in the third grade at Rock Valley Public School. In September 1989, she moved to Kentucky. She became a resident of the care center in November 1989.

She was a member of the American Reformed Church in Hull and was also a volunteer at Hope Haven in Rock Valley.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Arthur and his wife, Peggy, of Union, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Graham of Olathe, Kansas; and three sisters: Edythe Young of Stove, Ohio; Gertrude O’Neil of West Lake Village, California and Jeraldine Bosacker of Downey, California.

Services were held at 10 A.M. Friday in the American Reformed Church in Hull, with burial in Hope Cemetery.

Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home in Hull was in charge of arrangements.
