Death: December 23, 1925Frances Schmit was the daughter of Peter and Susan Glesener Schmit. On 27 May 1902 in Hospers, Lyons County, Iowa, she married Anton Grady. Iowa marriage records have the last name spelled Schmidt. Together they had 14 children: Alaysins, Lucille L., Frances, Anna, Lizzie, Agatha, Evelyn, Elinor, Anton, Mildred, Arthur, Julie, Florence, and Lorraine.
She was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Granville, Sioux County, Iowa.
