Funeral services for Miss Ruby E. Gourley, 61, Hartley, were held Saturday morning March 12, at 10:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She died Thursday at the Hartley Hospital. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Miss Gourley was born October 1, 1904 in Sioux County and she lived near Hudson and at Cherokee before moving to Hartley.

Survivors include a brother, Charles of Hudson and seven sisters, Mrs. Wayne VandeMore, Mrs. Rose Walker, Mrs. Lottie Olson, Mrs. Irene Kohls, Mrs. Olaf Lode and Agnes, all of Hudson and Mrs. Ellen Waldorf, Vinton.
