Cornelius Graanstra of Orange City, 72 years of age, died Sunday, January 6, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Graanstra was born in the Netherlands to Bashiaan and Willemke (Hazenberg Graanstra, but lived the most of his life in this vicinity. He was married to Maggie (Aadema) Graanstra.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the First Christian Reformed Church with Reverend R. Bronkema officiating. Interment was in the Orange City Cemetery.

Surviving are Mrs. Graanstra and relatives, Mrs. Melle De Jong, Mrs. J.N. Kreykes of Sheldon, Mrs. Mark Aardema of Sanborn, and Mrs. Frank De Jong of Hospers.
