Funeral services for Miss Agnes M. Gourley, 74, of Hudson were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawarden. Miss Gourley died suddenly last Friday evening at her home in Hudson.

Reverend William L. Carel officiated at the funeral with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Hawarden. Pallbearers were William Serek, Vincent Strubbe, Robert Van De More, Gaile Villier, Clement Van De More and Charles Scott.

The rosary was recited Monday evening at the Van De More Funeral Home in Hudson.

Miss Gourley was born February 23, 1893, to James and Theresa Gourley on a farm in Sioux County. She attended school in Garfield Township. She never married.

She resided at the place of her birth until 1952 when she moved to Hawarden to make her home with her brother, James. She moved to Hudson in 1962 and lived there until her death. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Hawarden and Holy Trinity Circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters. She is survived by one brother, Charles, of Hudson, and six sisters, Mrs. Mayme Van De More, Mrs. Rose Walker, Mrs. Lottie Olson, Mrs. Irene Kohls, and Mrs. Olaf Lode, all of Hudson, and Mrs. Ellen Waldorf of Vinton, Iowa.
