Mrs. Henry De Gooyer of Albert Lee MN is visiting her sister Mrs. R. Brandts who is very ill and with other relatives and friends. 1925 census revealed that Mrs. R Brandts was Jane Kolthof age 60 and husb was Reyer Brandts

Note: Found the family on line – Reyer Brandts born 29 Oct 1859 Kampen OV, Neth died 14 Oct 1933 Nassau tsp Sioux County IA. Jane or Jeltje Willems Kolthof born 24 Aug 1862 Bolsward Friesland Neth died 5 Feb 1927 Orange City, Sioux Iowa. Married 10 Dec 1884 Alton IA She was the daughter of Willem Piers Kolthof and Ijnskje Dooitzes Bootsma.

Birth record from Nethlerlands lists Jeltje Kolthof born 24 Aug 1862 to Willem Piers Kolthof and Ynskje Dooitzes Bootsma, at Bolsward Friesland Netherlands.

Find a Grave lists Ryer Brandts as born 29, 1853 Kampen Overijssel Neth. Died 14 Oct 1933 LeMars IA buried West Lawn Orange City IA. His wife was Jane Brandts. Children were - William Brandts, Jerry Brandts, John Brandts, Fannie Calsbeek, Ina Van Nimwegen, Seine Brandts, Percy Brandts.

In Orange City our former place citizen Mrs. Ryer Brandts, died aged 64 years, The funeral took place on Tuesday from the house of her son Percy Brandts and from the Second Chr. Ref. Church in Orange City. Mrs. Brandts was born in the Netherlands, Groningen province. She is survived by her husband, seven children, four married children and 14 grandchildren.
