From the Rock Valley Bee, January 6, 1922:

Florence Jean Klay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Klay, died last Saturday morning, Dec. 31, 1921. She was born February 21, 1921, and was ten months and twenty-one days old. Funeral services were held at the R. Klay home in Rock Valley Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. F. Schuldt, and the remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery for burial. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of many friends.
