Died: April 16, 1972John “Jack” Gebauer age 65 passed away April 16 at the home of his son in Kansas City, following a heart attack.
John Gebauer was born July 21, 1907 at Alton. He was married to Emma Arlene Horner. He is survived by six sons, five brothers and three sisters. Those living in this area are Ralph of Orange City, Bill, and Shirley Marra of Alton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Gebauer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 at the Van Etten Funeral Home, Reverend Clarence Greving officiating. Interment at Nassau Cemetery.
