Death: June 26, 1934Anna was born at Itzehoe, Germany. Her first husband was Karl Lahn. They had four children together. Two years after Karl's death, Anna married Max Geldermann; and, they had two children together. A son, Theodore Geldermann and a daughter Anna (Ranschau) GeldGeldermann. Max died in 1902.
The thatched-roof house where Anna was said to have lived in Lagerdorf, Germany was reported to have been just east of the point where Breitenburger Street forms a fork with Berg Street. This house was visited and photographed as recently as 1977.
In 1908, Anna moved from Germany to America with her son; and, she spent her last twenty-six years living with her daughter, Anna (Geldermann) Ranschau of Rock Valley, Sioux County, Iowa. Anna's health began to fail a week before her death.
She was buried in Grace Hill Cemetery, Hawarden, Sioux County, Iowa.
