Mrs. Margaret Wormke was born in Germany, on the 8th day of October 1855, and passed away at the home of her children, Mr. and Mrs. John Rohlf on last Wednesday night October 12th, being 66 years and 4 days of age at the time of her death. Funeral services for the deceased were held at her daughter's home at 12:00 p.m. last Saturday and at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran church in George, Iowa, with Rev. Flentje and Rev. Bunge officiating. Her husband preceded her in death some eight years ago, and since the death of her husband she has made her home with her daughter Mrs. John Rohlf and family. She leaves to mourn her death eight children and many other relatives. The children are Mrs. John Rohlf, Boyden; Mrs. Adam Kwikkle, Sheldon; Claus Wormke, Britton, S.D.; Herman Wormke, Andover, S.D.; Mrs. Dick Hollander, of George; Mrs. Wm. Doddenhoff, of Amherst, S.D.; Mrs. Fred Habben, of George; and Mrs. John DeRuiter, of Britton, S.D. All of her children were present at the funeral, which was also attended by many relatives and friends of the deceased. The Reporter extends its sincere sympathy to the bereaved children and relatives.
