Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Bos Monday, January 22nd, 1912 and claimed their 10 year-old son Albert.

Some time ago he was taken down with scarlet fever which in turn developed diphteria. Everything was done that mortal man could do; but their efforts were in vain and Albert went to join the heavenly throng.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. W. DeJonge at the cemetery and the remains were laid to rest We all deeply sympathize with the bereaved parents and relatives; but we know that they rejoice in the hope that they will find him waiting to welcome them on that Heavenly shore above where those who serve Him are sure to land.

Note: He is listed in the Sioux County cemetery index as born 15 May 1901 died 22 Jan 1912 son of C. C. and buried in Hope Cemetery Hull IA.
