Mrs. M. Bonneville Dies In California
Rites Here Friday Funeral services for Mrs. M. Bonneville, 89, early resident at Alton but a California resident for the past nine years, will be held at St, Mary's church in Alton Friday morning at 9:00 AM.

A daughter here, Mrs. Lynn Sorgdrager, was notified of Mrs. Bonneville's death May 3rd in a Long Beach rest home where she had been a patient for two years. Another daughter, Mrs. Oscar Brule, is expected with the body and internment will be in the parish cemetery beside the body of Mr. Bonneville. Services were held Monday in Long Beach.

Anna Marie Roden was born March 5, 1868 at Sandweider, Luxembourg. She was married there to Michael Bonneville of Metz, France and shortly thereafter the couple came to America, settling at Alton, where their seven children were born. The oldest son, Edward, died some years ago in California.

Surviving children are Magdalene, Mrs. Adolph Molitor of Spokane, Wash.; John of Long Beach, Calif.; Dora, Mrs. Brule and Frank, both of Alhambra, Calif.; Lawrence of Oakland, Calif.; Beatrice, Mrs. Sorgdrager of Alton. Mrs. Bonneville was a devoted mother and an energetic worker. After her children were reared and gone from the home she spent many hours making beautiful pieces of fancy work, quilts and spreads, netted centerpieces and other work learned in her girlhood. Recent years were spent with her son John and other children in California where she was given every care in her declining years. She was a kind neighbor and had many warm friends and admirers in Alton, the town which was her home for so many years.
