Died: July 13, 1950

Death came to Henry Frantzen suddenly on July 13 in New London, Missouri. Mr. Frantzen was born July 30, 1904 at Hospers, the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Frantzen. He was inducted into the service during World War II and served in the army. After receiving his honorable discharge, Mr. Frantzen was employed at De Haan Implement Company and later accepted a position with the Cass Construction Company where he was employed at the time of his death.

Survivors include two sisters, Celeste, Mrs. George Graff of Waterloo and Josephine, Mrs. Wallace Leonard of Spencer, an aunt, Miss Sophia Frantzen who raised the five children and another aunt, Miss Josephine Frantzen of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leo in May, 1949 and Emil in November 1949.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 17 at 9 o’clock at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Reverend J. Thoenissen officiating. Interment was made in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
