Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Fox, mention of whose death was made in last week’s Bee, were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.O. Fobes, Sunday afternoon and the remains were taken to Hull Cemetery for burial.

Elizabeth Battle was born at Barmby on the Marsh near Howden, Yorkshire, England, on the 21st day of June, 1846. She was married to Charles Fox in 1873 and came to the United States the same year.

The family moved to Hull, Iowa, about twenty-six years ago, but the last few years of her life were spent with her daughter, Mrs. Floyd G. Spencer, at Santa Ana, California, where she passed away July 20, 1925.

Mrs. Fox leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, Mrs. Floyd G. Spencer and Mrs. William O. Fobes and two sons, Mr. Tom Fox and Mr. Harry Fox, also seven grandchildren.
