Bradley V. Foss, father of Mrs. J.F. Morris, died at the home of his daughter, southeast of town, Friday of heart trouble.

The old gentleman had been subject to trouble with his heart and this coupled with old age and several paralytic strokes a short time previous was more than the physical being could stand and be gathered to his maker.

The funeral was held from the house last Sunday afternoon at two o’clock and was in charge of Reverend E.F. Gilbert assisted by Reverend J.P. Lian. The choir was composed of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bailey, O.B. Keesey, Mrs. H.B. Smith and Miss Rhyuesburger. The music was fine and appropriate.

A large number of friends and neighbors of the deceased followed the remains to the last resting place in Ireton Cemetery. Mr. Foss was a Christian gentleman and was liked by all who had the pleasure of knowing him during his life.

Note: He was married to Catharine O. Quackenbush Foss. She died in 1903.
