YOUNG MOTHER DIES

Mrs. Gerrit Zeutenhorst, who lives two miles south and two west of Maurice died Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. at the Hull hospital where she was brought early Tuesday suffering with convulsions following childbirth.

Deceased was 25 years of age and a week ago gave birth to a daughter who did not survive. Mrs. Zeutenhorst was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Draayer and spent her girlhood years in the vicinity of Maurice.

She is survived by her husband, one son, her parents, one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday at l p.m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Draayer and at 2 p.m. at the First Reformed Church at Sioux Center with Rev. L. A. Brunsting in charge. The remains will be laid to rest in the Sioux Center Cemetery.

MRS GERRIT ZEUTENHORST
Mrs. Gerrit Zeutenhorst of Maurice, 26, died March 2 a week after the birth, of her baby. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Draayer of Maurice. She was born in Dakota where she spent part of her childhood and later moved to Iowa. In 1929 she was married to Gerrit Zeutenhorst and they lived at Sioux Center and later at Maurice.

Surviving the young woman are her husband and five year old son, Herbert Gerald, her parents, two sisters Mrs. Dick Zeutenhorst and Mrs. Frank Popma, and one brother John.

Funeral services were held in the First Reformed church in Sioux Center March 5 with the Rev. Mr.
Brunsting officiating assisted by Rev. Mr. H. Colenbrander of Orange City Interment was made
in the Sioux Center cemetery.
