Benjamin Bay, 99, of Dunlap (Iowa) Care Center, formerly of Ireton, died Sunday, Sept. 6 at a hospital in Denison. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Dow Funeral Home at Ireton. The Rev. Marion Bloodworth officiated. Burial was in the Ireton Cemetery under direction of the White Funeral Home of Dunlap.

Mr. Bay was born Feb. 12, 1882. He married Mary Elizabeth Gilmore. She preceded him in death. He farmed in the Ireton area for about 60 years. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge of Ireton.

Survivors include four daughters, Rhea Landing and Yvonne Hershman, both of California, Mona Casey of Las Vegas, Nev. and Helen Dunham of Dunlap
