Wm. Ter Maat, 76, was discovered dead at about 5:45 Tues. afternoon. He died following an apparent heart attack. He was mowing his lawn at
Funeral services have been tentatively set for Friday at the Doon Christian Reformed church at 1:30.his home in the NE. part of Doon. The paper girl discovered his body while making her evening route.

The surviving children are; two sons, Jack of Delaphan, Wis. and Wm. of Rock Valley and six daughters, Mrs. Arie Van Tol of Doon, Mrs. Gerrit Visser of Artesia, CA.; Mrs. John H. Van Engen of Hawarden, Mrs. John R. Mulder of Doon, Mrs. Herman Bork of Luverne, MN; Mrs. Pete Van Den Oever of Holland, MI. and Mrs. Alvin Huisman of Chicago.

Mr. Ter Maat farmed most of his life in the Doon area, and retired to Doon in 1944.
