Death came early Tuesday morning to a native Doon Man. He was Gustav Nagel, 64, who died in the Lutheran hospital. He farmed here his entire life, He married Edith Gerdes Aug. 31, 1927.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Leroy of Bakkersfield CA. and Edward of Quam, six daughters, Eleanor, Mrs. Don Gibson, Sioux City, Louetta, Mrs. Joseph Stuczynski, Omaha, Arlene, Mrs. Willard Wissink Rock Valley, Virginia, Mrs. Ron Schenault, Sioux City, Michele, Mrs. Richard Bahrenfuss, Doon, and Miss Evelyn Nagel of Sioux City. There are also surviving 10 grandchildren, a brother Gotlobb of Doon, two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Weber of Doon and Mrs. Andrew Bruinsma of George.

In charge of funeral arrangements is Porter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
