Funeral Services for William Doeksen, 83, a long-time resident will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Christian Reformed Church. Burial will be made in Hillside Cemetery at Doon, IA, under the direction of the Jongewaard Funeral Home.

Mr. Doeksen died Monday at the hospital in Rock Rapids. He was born August 27, 1882 in the Netherlands. He came to Rock Rapids and resided here until about a year ago when he went to reside at the Rock Valley Convalescent Home.

Survivors are two sons, Gerrit and John, both of Rock Rapids; four daughters, Mrs. Garrit Doppenberg of Florence, MN, Mrs. William Menage and Mrs. William De Vries, both of Rock Rapids, and Mrs. Andrew Fikse of Steen, MN, 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
