Funeral Services Held Wednesday for Frank Wassenaar
Funeral services for Frank Wassenaar, 85, were at 1 p. m. Wednesday at the Vander Ploeg funeral home and at 1:30 p. m. at the First Reformed church in Rock Valley. Rev. A. A. Dykstra officiated. Burial was at Steen, Minn. Mr. Wassenaar died Saturday in the Orange City hospital after a long illness. He had lived in the Pioneer home in Orange City for the last nine months. After retiring from active farming, he lived in Rock Valley for 10 years. Mr. Wassenaar was born September 6, 1870, in The Netherlands.

Survivors include one son, Robert of Ashland, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. William Ver Mulm of Rock Valley; three brothers, Jake and Sam of Rock Valley and Gerrit of Steen; and two grandchildren.
