Mrs. Lorenz Bamberg, a former Alton resident, died Thursday evening, Oct. 3, in Columbus., Neb. .She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons. The former Mary Kain, Mrs. Bamberg was born In Le Mars in 1885 and lived in Alton for many years.

Surviving are a son. Francis of Encino. Calif, two daughters. Mrs. Richard Toof and Arlene Bamberg of Columbus, Neb.: seven grandchildren and one great - grandchild .
