OBITUARY MILLIE MAY BELLESFIELD

Millie May Bellesfield, was born near Rock Valley, Iowa August 23, 1880 and passed away at Itasca Memorial Hospital of Grand Rapids, Minn. Thursday July 12, 1956. Aged 75 years, 10 months and 20 days. She was educated in the Rock Valley public school and grew to womanhood there. She was united in marriage to Guy O. Firman at Orange City November 8, 1899 and continued to make her home in Rock Valley.

To this union three children were born. In 1906 they moved to North Dakota, where they resided until moving to Grand Rapids, Minn, in 1917, where they have since made their home. She was a member of the Rebeckah lodge and the Degree of Honor for many years.

Survivors are her three children, Sylvan R. Firman and Ralph E. Firman of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. C. L. (Irene) Blakeslee of Forest Lake, Minn.; also 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Hamilton of Flandreau, S. D.; Mrs. Cynthia Smith of Yoncalla, Ore.; Mrs. Amy Moore of Tama, Iowa; One brother, W. D. Bellesfield, of Sanborn, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, a sister and a brother.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 14 from the Sibley?? Funeral home with Rev. Jay N. Bostram officiating. Interment was in Itasca cemetery.
