Crash Kills Hull Youth

Milton D. Van't Hul, 19, was killed Friday evening, July 6 when the car he was driving collided with a gravel truck two miles east and three miles north of Hull. The gravel truck was driven by Herman Van Donge, 20, of Sioux Center. He was not injured. According to patrolmen Lawrence Hayes and Dale Smith who investigated the accident, the Van't Hul vehicle was traveling south and the gravel truck north on a gravel road when the two vehicles collided near an intersection about 5:30 p. m. Friday. Both vehicles plunged into the ditch along the road. The patrolmen said that Van't Hul died of a broken neck. Van't Hul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Van't Hul of Hull.

The survivors include three brothers, Elmer of Sioux Center, Lloyd and Donald, both of near Colton, S. D.: two sisters, Mrs. Quendorf of Minnesota and Diane Van't Hul of Hull.
