Maurice column: Mesdames C.J. and Hubert De Jong received the sad news of the death of their sister, Mrs. Reekus, living near Sheldon, on Monday night. Funeral services were held Wednesday.

Hospers column: Mrs. Reekes, who formerly resided here, died at Sheldon on Monday. The funeral services were held on Wednesday and were in charge of Rev. James De Pree of Sioux Center.
