The sad news of the death of Rev. H. Straks on Thursday afternoon at his home in Waupun, Wis., was received last night by Rev. Wesselink. The funeral will be held next Monday. He had been suffering with kidney trouble for a long time and his death did not come unexpected. The deceased was pastor of the First Reformed church here from February 1894 to November 1898. While pastor here he was well liked, especially by the young folks. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and one son and three daughters. The son is pastor of the Reformed church at Gibville, Wis., and the daughters are at home.----Maurice Times.
