John M. Balbirnie, a relative of James Walpole, who formerly lived in Philadelphia, Penn., but for the last two years has been living in
Chicago, came here about a month ago in quest of health. Last Sunday he took violently sick and was taken to the hospital where he received medical attention, but he was beyond the aid of medical skill and died in the evening. He was prepared for burial and removed to the home of James Walpole. His son was immediately advised by telegram of his father's death and arrived Tuesday. His remains were shipped Wednesday to Philadelphia for interment, accompanied by his wife and son.
