MRS. H. EVENHUIS FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Henry Evenhuis, 86, mother of Hawarden's Melyin and Lawrence Evenhuis, passed away at the Sioux Center Community Hospital Monday and her funeral was held Wednesday in the Central Reformed Church there with Reverend Albert Ten Clay officiating. Burial was in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery.

Born Gertrude De Pree June 16, 1881, in Sioux Center, she married Henry Evenhuis on September 29, 1904, in Sioux Center. Her husband preceded her in death.

She is also survived by two other sons, Arnold of Berwynn, Illinois, and Norman of Sioux Center; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
