(Carl) August Baerenwald born 1861 Medewitz Pommern, Prussia, Germany died 1943 Grant township Sioux County IA. He was buried in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery Boyden IA. Wife Matilda Miller 1872-1930. Children Wm. 1890, Leo 1893, Dora 1895, Frederick 1897, Rose 1899 , August 1901, Ernest 1901, Paul 1904, Alma 1906, Martin 1908, George 1910, Oscar 1913 and Anna 1917. No death notice was found in the papers on line, he died before June 1943 as his probate was noted dates thereafter.
There were references to his name in the 1943 and 1944 papers of Boyden but no obituary was found on line. The obit may have been carried in the Sheldon papers.
