The 1900 census lists Henry Bockhaus born May 1843 Germany wife Barbara born Mar 1850 Germany married 1886, they had two children, one died. One child listed as Bertha Bockhaus 10. In the 1925 census Bertha Mrs. John Witte listed her father as Henry Bockhous and Barbera Hotz born abt 1853
