Mr. Arthur J. Elenbaas, 66, passed away at the Grossman Hospital on April 6, 1952. He had been a resident of Orange City since 1930, when he and his family moved from Springfield, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday in the Trinity Reformed Church.

Arthur J. Elenbaas was born at Zeeland, Michigan on September 5, 1885. He was 66 years at the time of his death. He came to Springfield, South Dakota when a young man and was married to Kate De Roos on March 13, 1913.

Three daughters were born to this union: Henrietta, Mrs. Cornie Hoekstra of Boyden, Iosa; Thelma, Mrs. John Palsma of Springfield, South Dakota; Frances of Orange City. He is also survived by his widow, Mrs. Kate Ellenbaas; by his four sisters, Mrs. Bert Hartgerink, Mrs. Henry Baron, Mrs. Clarence Berends and Mrs. Arend Ketting all of Michigan, and by eight grandchildren. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
