The baby son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Den Hartog of Woodstock, Minn., died at the Gerrit Van Laar home on Wednesday of lung trouble. Mrs. Den Hartog and baby came about three weeks ago for an extended visit at the home of Mrs. Gerrit Van Laar who is Mrs. Den Hartog's sister. The little one had not been well for some time and it passed away on Wednesday evening. Mr. Den Hartog arrived in Alton on Thursday morning. The funeral services will be held at the Van Laar home this Saturday morning at nine o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. J.P. De Jong. Interment will be made in Nassau township cemetery.
