Adriaan De Lint died at his home at Orange City on Christmas day after a sickness of only one day, at the age of 8O years; 7 months and 25 days. He was born at Klundert, in The Netherlands, on April 27, 1852, coming to this country in 1893. Ho married Johanna Hoogewerff on July 4, 1878, 12 children coming to bless their home, eleven of whom, in addition to the wife and mother,- survive, as follows: Cornelius, Orange City; Mrs. J. Bos, Monroe, s. D.; Mrs. L. Vander Stoep, Orange City; Adrianus, Twin Brooks, S. D.; Mrs. John Marls, Rock Rapids; Mrs. Henry Muilenburg,, Sanborn; Mrs. Henry Muilenburg,, Sanborn; Mrs.. T. Vander Plaats, Edgerton MN, Henry of Harris, and the twins Susanna and Joanne, who are at home with their mother.

Funeral services were conducted at the Firs Ref. Chruch by Rev. H. Colenbrander on Dec. 27, burial taking place at the Orange City Cemetery. Mr. De Lint is also survived by a brother and two sisters who reside in the Netherlands.
