Sioux County Capital December 19, 1985

Joyce E. De Leeuw, 40, died Saturday morning at the Sioux Center Hospital. Services were held Monday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Free Grace Reformed Church, Middleburg. Rev. Robert Hector officiated. Burial was in the Middleburg Cemetery under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home, Orange City. Miss De Leeuw was born July 14, 1945 at Sioux Center, the daughter of William and Margaret (Ten Haken) De Leeuw. Most of her life was spent in rural Orange City and now was a resident of Hope Haven RTC where she had been involved in their training program. She was a member of Free Grace Reformed Church of Middleburg.

Surviving are her parents, William and Margaret De Leeuw; four sisters, Mrs. Jim (Elizabeth) Wynja of Melvin, Mrs. Pete (Donna) Vonk of Sioux Center, Mrs. Marv (Marilyn) Faber of Boyden, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Adkins of Sioux Center and several nephews and nieces. Memorial gifts will be given to Hope Haven.
