Mrs. William Brantsen, 86, Sioux Center, died Wednesday in a car-pedestrian accident at Sioux Center.

Services were at 10:30A.M. Saturday in the First Reformed Church at Sioux Center. The Reverend Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Brantsen, the former Minnie Dykshorn, was born February 15, 1894, at Sioux Center. She was married February 4, 1914, at Ireton. Mr. Brantsen died September 19, 1961.

Survivors include two sons, John of Orange City and William Jr. of Sioux Center; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (June) Carwell of Clear Lake; four sisters, Mrs. John (Gert) Sneller of Sioux Center, Mrs. Henry (Harriet) Franken of Pella, Mrs. H. Clay (Eldine) Cox of Omaha and Mrs. Dave (Margaret) Roelof of Sioux Center; two brothers, Marion of Sheldon and Edward of Sioux Center; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
