ELLSWORTH G. DE JONG
Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church in Orange City at 2 p.m. October 27 for Ellsworth G. De Jong, 72, formerly of Orange City who died October 23 at a retirement home in Seal Beach, Calif. Burial was made in West Lawn cemetery at Orange City.

Mr. De Jong was born May 3, 1899, at Maurice and was married to Marie Hofland Nov. 12, 1925, at Orange City. He served as postmaster at Orange City for many years, retiring about 1965, at which time he moved to California.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, John of Chicago and William of MaComb, IL; a sister, Mrs. Raymond Hershey, of California; two grandchildren.
