Funeral services held June 7 for Mrs. Anna De Jong
Mrs. Anna De Jong died June 4, 1965, at the Orange City hospital after an illness of six weeks. She was 88 years old at the time of her death.

Mrs. De Jong was born at Waupun, Wisconsin, on September 22, 1876, the daughter of Gerrit Mouw and Willemtje Frens Mouw. On March 14, 1906, she married Conrad J. De .Jong, The two children Esther (Mrs. J. Hotalen) and Wilbur J., both of Maurice, survive and the eight grandchildren, Denice Hotalen Stover of Phoenix, Ariz., Roger Hotalen of Maurice, Rev, Carl De Jong of New York, Linda, Earl, Kay, Daniel and Joel De Jong of Maurice.

Also surviving are two brothers, Evert Mouw of the Pioneer Home and J. G. Mouw of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Hubert De Jong (Mary) of the Pioneer Home and Mrs. Dick Kreykes (Win) of Sioux Center; and many nieces and nephews,
