Henrietta Van Peursem De Jager 79, of Maurice passed away Saturday Nov. 26, 1977
She was born March 10, 1898 at Maurice, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Peursem. Mrs. De Jager lived her entire live in the Maurice vicinity. Deceased was a longtime faithful member of the guilds of the First Reformed Church there.

On January 7, 1920, she was united in marriage to Albert De Jager and to this union three children were born: Leona Mrs. Peter Van Maasdam Jr. of West brook MN, Esther Mrs. Raymond Johnson deceased, and Paul of Maurice. Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, one sister and her daughter Esther.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter Leona and son Paul; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister Minnie Mrs. John Hoekstra of Edgerton MN; two brothers George of South Gate CA and Delbert of St. Louis MO.

Services were held Tuesday Nov 29 in the First Reformed church of Maurice with the Rev. Erwin Voogd officiating. Interment was in Sherman Tsp Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten-Oalman funeral home.
