Harry De Jager a live long resident of the Maurice vicinity died at his home Thursday . He was born March 9, 1894 near Maurice and married Eunice Vander Berg. They farmed until 1936 when they moved to Maurice. Mrs. De Jager died Feb. 12 1958. Funeral services were held at the Ref. church in Maurice Monday.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Fisher of Pittsburg, CA, and Mrs. John Harskamp of Boyden; 2 sons, Merlyn and Wayne of Maurice; 2 sisters, Mrs. Irvin Hooks and Mrs. Gary Spenkelink of Sioux City; 7 brothers, Albert and Raymond of Maruice, Edward of LeMars, Andrew and Martin of Rock Valley, William and Elmer of California and 3 grandchildren.
