Wednesday the old man was alive and well but he became sick and died Saturday morning.
Mr. De Bondt was 76 years old. He came in May 1913 to America and only lived a few years in Sioux Center, after which he spent some years on the farm. The last five years he lived in town. The deceased is survived by wife and seven children, 10 grandchildren . The Children Cornelis in the Netherlands, Arie, local, Johanna in Netherlands, Mrs. Corn De Waard in the Netherlands, Mrs. G. Doieslager, Teunis and William over here. The funeral took place today Wednesday with a service to the home and the 'Lower Duitsch' Dutch Reformed Church.

Wife was Maria Cornelia Van Nimwegen, born 7 Oct 1855 Ede, Geld. Neth. Died 16 Dec 1931 Sioux Center IA. Maria’s parents were Hendrik Van Nimwegen and Arisje Jacobsen. Bor and Maria have children Cornelis, Arie, Heintje, Evertje, Teunis and Willem. )
