Mrs. C. deBooy, (Teuntje) 84 Interred Saturday Long-time Resident Died at Rock Rapids Funeral services for Mrs. Cyrenus de Booy were held Saturday afternoon at the American Reformed church, with Rev. J. A. Veldman officiating. Interment was made in Orange City cemetery, with Hubert Muilenburg, Harry Muilenburg, Dick Muilenburg, M. C. Muilenburg, H. L. Van Wyk and C. E. Balkema serving as pallbearers. Van Ettens were in charge of arrangements

Mrs. de Booy died last Thursday, Sept. 4, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. A. O. Voogd of Rock Rapids, following several months of declining health. Eighty-four at the time of her death, Mrs. de Booy had made her home with the Voogds for 10 years, since the
death of her husband, Cyrenus de Booy, on April 1,1942. Born at Pella, la.

Born in Pella, Jan. 10, 1868, Mrs. Teuntje de Booy was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Hubert Muilenburg who were among the pioneer settlers of Sioux county. She was married in Orange City on Oct. 3, 1889 to Cyrenus de Booy.

Six children were born to the couple all of whom survive They are Mattys of Whittier, Calif.; Hubert of Hospers; Margaret of Evanston, IL.; Marion of Storm Lake; Mildred (Mrs. R. R.) Shepard of St. Paul, Minn., and Clazena (Mrs. A. O.) Voogd of Rock Rapids. A brother, Samuel H. Muilenburg, 90, of Orange City, also survives; as do eight grand-children and eight great-grandchildren. All the children except Mattys, and their families, were able to be with Mrs. de Booy on several occasions during her recent last illness.
