Marilyn Moore, 72, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Sioux Center, Iowa, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, Florida.

Visitation with the family present will be Friday, July 1, 2016 from 6:00—7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Bethel Christian Reformed Church at 10:30 AM.

Marilyn Jane Moore was born July 18,1943 to Dick and Hilda (Kiel) Addink in Sioux Center, Iowa. She lived there until she graduated from Dordt College. She taught school in California and New Jersey before moving to New York to work for the Manhattan CRC. It was there that she met her husband, William Moore. They married on December 31, 1969 and lived in New York for almost 40 years. William was a police officer and Marilyn became an accountant.

Marilyn and William enjoyed opening their home to visitors in New York and Florida and were a blessing to many family members and friends who visited. Marilyn enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, collecting antique furniture, and helping those in need.

In 2008 they moved to Florida for their retirement years. They were members of the Bradenton CRC.

Survivors include her husband, William, of 47 years; 7 siblings and their spouses: Mary Steward of Jesus of Hutchinson, Kansas; Jim and Harriet Martinus of Jenison, Michigan; Duane and Kathy Addink of Hudsonville, Michigan; Larry and Sharidee Addink of Manhattan, Montana; Ken and Barb Addink of Sioux Center, Iowa; Gene and Betty Addink of Rapid City, South Dakota; Jim and Alma DeVries of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Kevin and Betty Moss of Boyden, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in-law Bessie Haynes of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Louise Moore of Callahan, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Calvin, and an older brother, John; 5 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, and their spouses.
