DEATH OF MRS. ARCH DE BRUCE (Sarah E.) Passed Away Early Wednesday Morning at Burlington, Iowa Mrs. Arch DeBruce of Burlington.

Hawarden, passed away at Burlington early Wednesday morning following an illness which extended over a period of about four years. Mrs. Johnson had been to see her mother many times during her illness and left here Tuesday night to be at her bedside.

Funeral services were held at Burlington Iowa mother of Mrs. York Johnson of Hawarden this morning after which her body will be brought here for burial in Grace Hill cemetery. The remains will arrive on the Friday morning Milwaukee train and will be taken directly to the cemetery where brief committal services will be held.

Mrs. DeBruce was 65 years of age and for the past 15 years had resided at Burlington, Iowa. Most of her life, however, was spent in Kansas. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. York Johnson. .Mrs. DeBruce visited in Hawarden in the home of her daughter numerous times and was quite well known to a number of Hawarden people.
