Death Takes Mrs. Boone On Monday
Orange City Woman Settled Here In 1883

After 61 years and 22 days of life and service, Mrs. Henry Boone of Orange City, passed away at her home Monday, December 7.

Born in Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Kleinhesselink, she came to Sioux county in 1873.

She was married to Henry Boone in Orange City January 24, 1889.

Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Colenbrander of the First Reformed Church Thursday.

Mrs. Boone is survived by her mother, Mrs. A.J. Kleinhesselink; eight children, Gerrit Boone, Britten, South Dakota; Arie Boone, Hospers; Andrew Boone, Sheldon; John Boone, Orange City; Mrs. William Van Gorp, Orange City; William Boone, Sioux Center; Mrs. James Brommer, Sioux Center, and Henry Boone, Ponca, Nebraska.

She also leaves three brothers, John Kleinhesselink, Orange City; William Kleinhesselink, Maurice; and Arie Kleinhesselink. Three sisters survive, Mrs. William Van Meveren, Orange City; Mrs. John Roelofs, Orange City; and Johanna Kleinhesselink.

The husband of Mrs. Boone passed away on May 8, 1924. One daughter, Doris, died at the age of six years in 1912.

Mrs. Boone suffered from cancer for five months previous to her death. She leaves many friends who mourn her passing.
