Mrs. Ben Bonnema passed away at her home in Eagle Township, five miles northwest of Ireton, at 12:40 Tuesday morning following an illness of several months duration from gall stone trouble. She had been bed fast since before Thanksgiving. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Reformed Church at Lebanon Friday afternoon, in charge of Reverend J.J. Stigenga, the pastor, and interment will be made in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Mrs. Bonnema was about 60 years of age. She came with her family to Sioux County about five years ago from Chicago and until last spring they resided on the Wheeler farm, north of Ireton. Last year they moved to their present home on the J.L. Brown farm. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons and three daughters, Charles and Henry Bonnema and Mrs. Edward Demik of Chicago, Mrs. George Schneider of Ireton and Miss Lena at home. One son died in Chicago about a year ago.

The family have the sincere sympathy of all in the loss of wife and mother.

Mrs. Ben Bonema [*Bonnema] died at her home northwest of Ireton, early Tuesday morning, following a protracted illness from gall stones. The deceased was 62 years of age at the time of her death. She has lived in this vicinity for several years and is well and favorably known. She leaves to mourn her departure a husband and four children, two sons residing in Chicago, Mrs. Geo. Sniders and a daughter at home. The funeral will be held from the Lebanon church tomorrow, Friday, afternoon, at 2 o'clock.
