The seven year old son of Charles Clave, living southwest of town, underwent a serious operation at Le Mars last week for an abcess on the brain. He was very weak and died shortly after. The funeral was held from the home Saturday and interment at Grant Tsp burial ground in Plymouth county. His mother died during the past summer.
