Mrs. Anna DeBoer, 90, of Orange City, formerly of Alton, died Wednesday, September 19, 1984, in a
hospital in Orange City. Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, September 24, in the Reformed Church
of Alton. The Rev. Ray Tilstra officiated. Burial was in Nassau Township Cemetery, near Alton.

Mrs. DeBoer, the former Anna Rowenhorst, was born July 24, 1894, near Orange City. She married
Douwe D. DeBoer October 2, 1919, near Orange City. They farmed near Alton until retiring to town in 1958. He died December 10, 1971, at Orange City. On May 17, 1977, she became a resident of Pioneer Memorial Home in Orange City. Mrs. DeBoer was a member of the Reformed Church of Alton.

Survivors include two sons, Homer of Orange City and Robert J. of Alton; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin
(Charlotte) Meyer of Ireton and Mrs. Delmar (Charlene) Kloster of Longmont, CO; two brothers, Henry of Orange City and Otto H. of Sheldon; one sister, Mrs. Dick (Lyda) Duistermers of Alton; 16 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
