Hendrika "Hattie" Mosterdt

Hendrika "Hattie" Mosterdt, age 92, of Rock Valley died Saturday, July 4, 1998 at Valley Manor Nursing Home at Rock Valley.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley. Rev. Norman Menning will be officiating. Visitation will be all day Monday at Porter Funeral Home at Rock Valley.

Hattie was born December 18, 1905, in Garfield Township, Sioux County, Iowa, daughter of Garrit and Aartje (Van Den Broek) Mosterdt. She helped run the household and family farm for most of her life.

Hattie moved to Valley Manor on October 15, 1974.

Surviving relatives include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
