John C. Dingeman died at his home in Omaha on Thursday morning Dec 17th 1911 at the age of 55 years. Deceased had been a sufferer for several months with nervous trouble and death came as relief. The remains were taken from Omaha to Orange City and were taken to the A. Popma home. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. John Engelsma of the Reformed church.

Deceased is survived by the widow and tree sisters Mrs. Albert Popma of Orange City, Mrs. A. J. Lenderink of Orange City and Mrs. C. Van Nimwegen of Rapid City SD. One brother, Dan Dingeman of Corsica SD also survives. Those from out of town who came to attend the funeral were John Mak of Archer, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mak of Inwood, Mr. and Mrs. M Muilenburg of Archer and F. Van Horsen of Minnesota.

(It was determined that his wife was Emma Ellen Veldema. John was born 31 Jul 1857 and died 7 Dec 1911 he was married 1 Sep 1876 Marion Co. Ia.)
